Not only is the Super Puff incredibly lightweight and warm, the cropped cut and liquidshine finish (I bought mine in black) add a certain polish and edge to anything I might wear underneath. I discovered—and purchased—so many new things this year, choosing just one seems impossible! But if I had to choose what’s bound to be a longtime favorite, I would definitely highlight Living Proof’s Full Body shampoo and conditioner. I’ve been on the hunt for a gentle volumizing recipe for so long that this duo feels like the holy grail. I love how voluptuous and full my hair looks after every wash. I can’t stop recommending it to all my friends. I’ve recently started using the Nars Soft Matte Foundation—a hydrating yet mattifying formula that gives me both the coverage and the poreless look I desire. Packed with hyaluronic acid, microalgae extract, and an antioxidation complex, this liquid foundation seriously doesn’t budge or get overly oily throughout the day. A dream, truly. On the sneakers front, I’ve always been a Converse gal. So, unsurprisingly, the Converse Run Star Hike hightops were one of my first purchases of 2021. I love that they are a modern take on the brand’s classic Chuck ’70s, with a fun platform that not only makes me a bit taller (I’m only 5’2!) but provides a comfortable streetwearesque statement.

This year being the It’s not just tie baby Las Vegas shirt But I will love this unpredictable year that it was, I did not buy a single thing on Black Friday but marched into the Another Tomorrow’s store on Bleecker Street (yes, I shop in person!) and bought this gorgeous coat instead. It’s a classic, and I felt good supporting an environmentally conscious brand. I know I will have it for years to come! I bought this buttery soft Nanushka blazer for a cocktail event back in June. Since then, I’ve found myself pulling it out of my closet at least once a week to pair with jeans for casual dinners out with friends or to dress up a simple skirt for appointments with clients.
