A lot of people could make a small change without much effort but when you get baby boomers sitting in their armchairs calling climate change a hoax. Governments and corporations and a lifestyle and demand for capital and agriculture and fuels have been the Sistas Women Friends Shirt cause of increased greenhouse gases in our atmosphere within the last 140 years. Except we do need massive change. We need to change at the industry level. We need policy change. Trying to, again, foist the responsibility of climate change and pollution onto consumers misses the very real problems at production and commercial level.
I remember getting our milk delivered in glass containers and we returned them when they were empty. Everything that is old, is new again. I always remember putting the empty’s on the doorstep for the milkman and replacing it with a full one. Somethings were a good idea and should have stayed. Great idea to reduce plastic waste since plastic lasts forever. At the same time, this process of reusing the bottles involves the use of water and the cleanser involved. I do think we can/have learned how to clean water. So many upcoming changes often seem beneficial on the surface but how do we weigh the pros and cons of transportation to recycle various produces involves pollution due to fuel use then what kind of fuel etc.
